What is MorphBlaster?

MorphBlaster is a Roblox Tool that lets players
transform into a target object by shooting it.
When the player fires the blaster, the system checks
the target from the camera direction and morphs the
player when the object is a valid transformation target.

This is more than a simple costume change. Objects
placed around the map can become gameplay targets,
making MorphBlaster useful for playful abilities,
hiding mechanics, roleplay moments, and creative
map gimmicks.

02

Main Features

Shoot and transform

Players aim at a valid target object,
fire the blaster, and transform into
that object's visible shape.

Clear laser feedback

The tracer shows red for missed or invalid
targets and green when the selected object
can be used successfully.

Multiple revert options

Players can return to normal through the
Revert button, F key, unequip behavior,
death, or an optional automatic timer.

  • Object transformation blaster
  • Camera-based aiming
  • Red and green laser feedback
  • MeshPart target support
  • Part and SpecialMesh target support
  • Revert GUI button
  • Optional timed morph duration
  • Optional revert on unequip

How It Works

In the basic setup, creators place morphable objects
inside a Workspace folder named Metamorphose.
Objects inside this folder can then be detected as
transformation targets.

1. Prepare targets

Place supported target objects inside
Workspace > Metamorphose.

2. Aim and fire

The Tool checks the object in the camera
direction when the player fires.

3. Transform

If the object is valid, the player's normal
appearance is replaced by the target shape.

Supported Target Types

  • MeshPart:
Useful for custom shapes and detailed
    object visuals.
  • Part + SpecialMesh:
    Useful for traditional Roblox mesh-style
    objects.
  • CanQuery recommended:
Target objects should generally keep CanQuery
    enabled for reliable aiming.
  • Visible target parts:
Fully transparent visual parts are treated
    more safely as non-targets.

Optional Marked Target Mode

For stricter control, creators can enable
ONLY_MARKED_TARGETS. In this mode, only objects
with a Bool Attribute named MorphTarget set to true
are accepted as valid transformation targets.

This allows the Metamorphose folder to contain other
objects while still limiting which visual parts
can be selected by the blaster.

Customizable Settings

Creators can adjust the transformation duration,
targeting distance, cooldown, aiming forgiveness,
and revert behavior from the main settings.

  • USE_MORPH_TIMER:
    Chooses whether transformations end
    automatically after a timer.
  • MORPH_DURATION:
Controls how long the player remains
    transformed.
  • MAX_DISTANCE:
    Controls the maximum targeting range
    of the blaster.
  • COOLDOWN:
Controls how quickly the player can
    fire again.
  • AIM_BLOCK_SIZE:
    Adjusts how forgiving the aiming
    detection feels.
  • REVERT_ON_UNEQUIP:
    Chooses whether unequipping the Tool
    also restores the normal character.

Revert Options

  • Revert button for PC and mobile players
  • F key revert support
  • Revert when the Tool is unequipped
  • Revert when the player dies
  • Optional timer-based automatic revert
  • Configurable morph duration

Sound Support

MorphBlaster can use sounds inside the Handle
for firing, successful transformation, and returning
to normal. When separate morph or revert sounds are
not prepared, the firing sound can be used as a fallback.

  • Fire:
Plays when the blaster is fired.
  • MorphSound:
    Plays when the transformation succeeds.
  • RevertSound:
Plays when the player returns to normal.
  • Fallback behavior:
The Fire sound can be reused when additional
    sounds are not prepared.

Best Use Cases

MorphBlaster is a good fit for Roblox experiences
where transformation, surprise, hiding, or object-based
abilities can make gameplay more interesting.

  • Roleplay games
  • Stealth mini-games
  • Prop-hunt-style ideas
  • Magic or sci-fi ability games
  • Adventure maps
  • Funny party games
  • Transformation challenge rooms
  • Lobby attractions and toy-like Tools

Why Creators May Like It

MorphBlaster creates a clear player interaction:
aim at an object, fire the Tool, see the laser result,
and transform into the selected shape.

The red and green tracer feedback makes successful
and unsuccessful shots easy to understand. The
Metamorphose folder also provides a simple way to
organize all transformation targets without building
a complete morph system from zero.
